About Chase
I'm from the border of San Diego and Tijuana, and I have four years of experience teaching English to groups and individuals. I have hundreds of satisfied students, and I will gladly provide the surveys that my students filled out at the end of each class so you can get an idea of who I am as a teacher. After working for Open English in 2013, I decided I wanted to work individually.
I realized that students lacked quite a bit of personal attention and care. As a passionate professional who always takes my students' satisfaction into account, I was disappointed by some of the methodologies used at my old organization. I am certified in teaching English from two TEFL bodies, and next year, I'll complete a CELTA. I speak Mexican Spanish and American English.

I think the best teachers have not only a good knowledge of their subject, but they're also upbeat, have a pleasant attitude, plenty of experience, and talent. Through my experience teaching students of every level, I have learned to develop my own curriculum according to each student's needs.
I take advantage of speaking the student's native language to teach and explain the basics to beginners, and my aptitude for spelling and advanced conversation to teach students who already have a good command of the language.
Learning should not be boring. The lessons will change depending on your interests as a person, or if you already have a curriculum or book you would like to follow, we will include it in the lessons as well.
