About Harshini
As a fellow student myself, I know how hard it can be to study and learn topics at a quick pace and with thorough understanding. I study Pharmacy so trust me when I say, I have a lot of experience with studying difficult concepts and topics especially when I have to learn things quickly at university! I love to teach and help others understand topics in a gentle and fun way and once you learn how to study well, studying can actually seem quite fun! In the past, I successfully completed my IGCSEs with 8A* and 2As so yes, I do know a thing or two about excelling academically and I hope you trust me to help you too! I also completed the Monash University Foundation Year Programme and got High Distinction in all my units with a 4.0 GPA. Hope these grades inspire you so do reach out if you need help!

When I tutor, I start by first gaining an understanding of what you as a student require. My preferred method of sharing my knowledge is usually using whiteboards via Zoom and presentations if necessary. I also include a lot of practice questions based on the topic being taught to learn how to answer questions well. My lessons usually range between 1-2 hours depending on the complexity of the subject and your availability. In the past, I have taught students of different ages ranging from 5 to 16 years old. I have also taught IGCSE students Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. For IGCSE tutoring, I teach my classes following the syllabus provided by the IGCSE boards and discuss past papers as well. My lessons are aimed towards: 1) Edexcel and Cambridge IGCSE students in need of help for Biology and Chemistry 2) Young high school students from the ages 8-15 years old in need of help for English, Science and Math.
