Greg was our tutor on an art holiday at La Salle in Saint Puys, France. I was a complete novice and anxious about being part of a group of able artists. Greg was an inspirational teacher who helped me overcome my fears and gave me the confidence to ‘have a go’ and paint. He was always encouraging and full of good advice, as well as thoughtful and kind. I am returning to La Salle next year for another week of tuition with Greg. And I have continued to paint! I spent a week with Gregory in France learning to paint without fear both plein air and studio. Greg was brilliant, he gave us some great tips and techniques but also lots of 1:1 guidance where he was sympathetic to our own individual styles, making gentle observations that transformed my work. He is also fun and has fab sense of humour. It was a fantastic week and I’ve booked again!
