About Christopher
Hi! My name is Chris and I’m a professional guitar and bass player, songwriter and producer in Los Angeles. I’m originally from Las Vegas where I grew up in a musical family and have been in original and cover bands since a very young age; my earliest memory is standing on my dad’s Stratocaster when I was only a kid!
I am a Berklee College of Music Alumni with a degree in guitar performance, song writing and Music Production.
I had the privilege of working with multiple platinum selling artists including Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper amongst others. In the film industry I've done soundtracks, EPKs and more for Universal Studios, Hollywood Horror Nights, FOX, and L.A. Comic Con. Well-known film projects include The Walking Dead, HBO’s True Blood, Sons of Anarchy and more.
I also have 20 years of experience as a studio musician, recording projects, producing and mixing music and audio engineering, professional composition and arrangement.
As a teacher I have been teaching for almost a decade now and have trained a lot of students all over the country in playing bass guitar and guitar, songwriting and composition. Writing my own music and playing in multiple bands and fields prepared me for teaching all these different subjects. I have experience of teaching kids and adults, with a wide range of musical backgrounds. I try to solidify theory skills and musicianship in a fun and comfortable environment that will serve students in all their musical endeavors.

Perfect! Chris is a very student-centered teacher! He has carefully considered my needs and skills and designed a program that has allowed me to gain a great deal of electric guitar knowledge in a relatively short period of time. Plus, it's fun! I can't tell you how happy it makes me when I'm playing along to a favorite song and everything suddenly locks in and I'm not just practicing anymore -- I'm playing music! Chris has been instrumental in getting me to this place. I could not be more pleased!
Perfect! Chris is an amazing teacher, the way he explains things makes guitar playing very simple. He taught me how by using just some few basic shapes, I can play all different chords that I need to know on guitar and it’s just fascinating because I can learn songs that I like. I already feel much more confident in my playing skills.
