“With a big presentation coming up in 3 weeks I wanted to get my speaking voice working better so my nurse found Zelda to be my voice coach. I liked that she was also a singing voice coach and could possibly help me with breathing. After smoking three packs of cigarettes a day for 35 years I suffered from Emphysema which made it difficult to breathe and was on inhalants. I could barely speak a sentence without throat clearing and coughing. After my first lesson with Zelda and doing just a single voice warm up I noticed an immediate improvement and my voice felt so good, so I booked another 10 sessions so I could get my voice and breathing to work better in the 3 weeks I had to prepare. The warm up helps my voice feel and sound better. And with Zelda’s voice and breathing exercises I found my voice could go longer each day without clearing my throat or coughing, which I habitually did all time. And by the end of 2 weeks I could do the entire presentation without a single cough or throat clearing. Zelda is a wonderful voice teacher! I was always fearful of singing in public though I always wanted to. I was a marching band kid and didn't think I could sing. Zelda's training helped build my confidence while building my skills. Lessons were also fun, which is important. She really gave me a lot of knowledge about singing and different styles, such as jazz or pop, and how I could practice the style. We had a lot of fun breaking down popular songs and finding my own way to style them. Now I'm much more confident and can enjoy karaoke night! Zelda gets 10 out of 10 from me, you can't go wrong hiring her!
