About Jai
I achieved an A* in GCSE Physics and a B at A level. I’m a Product Design graduate from the University of Nottingham with strong skills in understanding and explaining physics topics clearly. With over a year of tutoring experience, I enjoy helping students break down tricky concepts and build real confidence in the subject. As someone who is neurodivergent, I take a patient and tailored approach to teaching, adapting to different learning styles and needs. I focus on helping students improve both their understanding and exam technique in a supportive and encouraging environment.

A typical lesson lasts one hour and follows a clear, consistent structure to help you build confidence in physics. We start with a quick recap of the previous lesson and your week at school. Then we introduce new topics using clear explanations, diagrams, and example questions to help you understand key concepts. We work through practice problems together, focusing on both theory and application. As you improve, we will use past papers, topic tests, or any work that has been challenging to develop your exam skills and confidence. Our first lesson is a free introduction where we get to know each other, assess your current level, and identify areas to focus on. I emphasise learning from mistakes and encourage you to bring any school work or past papers so we can review them. Lessons are tailored to your learning style to help you succeed.
