About Hrudai
I’m a Production Designer and Art Director with a background in architecture, currently based in Los Angeles. I hold a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master’s in Production Design from SCAD.
My experience spans architecture, interiors, commercials, films, and independent productions, giving me a practical understanding of how design moves from an initial idea to drawings, 3D models, presentations, and finally a built space or set.
I’ve worked professionally with AutoCAD and SketchUp across architectural and production design projects, and I enjoy helping others understand not just the software, but the design thinking behind it.
I’m happy to work with complete beginners, students, or emerging designers looking to strengthen their technical skills, develop projects, build portfolios, or explore careers in architecture, interiors, set design, and production design.

I focus on practical, project-based learning rather than just teaching software commands. Whether you’re learning AutoCAD, SketchUp, set design, or interior design, I’ll help you understand how these tools are actually used to develop and communicate a design from concept to execution.
Lessons can be tailored to your experience and goals, from complete beginners to architecture, interior design, film, or production design students. We can work through 2D drafting, 3D modeling, space planning, set design, design development, presentations, and portfolio projects.
With a background in architecture and a Master’s in Production Design from SCAD, along with professional experience in film, commercials, and set design, I bring both design fundamentals and real-world industry experience into the lessons.
My goal is to help you not only learn the software, but also think like a designer, develop stronger ideas, and present your work with confidence.
