About Amy
Drama Studio London Acting Grad and professional gives coaching for drama school entrance and LAMDA Exams.
I am a professional actress based just outside Peterborough. Since graduating from Drama Studio London in 2018, I have worked predominately on stage, including credits at the Finborough Theatre, The Old Red Lion Theatre and working with fEAST Theatre. I also have also worked with Audible on their first podcast series Hag.

LAMDA Exams
My steps to help you achieve your goals:
Your first session is dedicated to chatting about what your goals are. I will then prepare lesson plans best suited for you.
I use many different methods, techniques and exercises to facilitate the learning process, such as improvisation, character studies and breathing and vocal work.
I use fun interactive quizzes to revise the theory sections of LAMDA exams.
Drama School Prep
Advice on speeches and choice of speeches.
Work on speeches. Knowledge of the play, character drive, emotional life.
Voice work (articulation, pitch, resonance, breath support)
Body work (posture, freedom, range)
Guidance for independent warm up before the audition.
I am a firm believer in the power of performing arts. Whether pursuing it as a career or for building confidence, LAMDA exams are a great tool for you to prosper.
Having successfully auditioned for drama schools, and sat in on auditions for drama school, I am aware of what schools are looking for, and how to best present yourself and your skill. I help you choose two speeches that best show you and what you can do, and work with you to bring out your true potential.
I teach children aged 6 to 17 performance skills every Saturday, so I am very experienced at adapting my teaching style to different age groups.
