About Roger
I trained as a Fine Artist oil painter since the age of 13. Developing my skills through my school years, I was something g of a child prodigy and was given free reign by my educators, before moving on to University, via the Slade and Cardiff Art Schools. I moved away from painting, through photography, and eventually away from the field together before moving back to painting as a professional artist after injuring my back. Since establishing myself as a Fine Artist, my sales are well set globally as well as establishing myself in Brisbane, where I am the resident artist at the New Farm Antique Centre.

I’ve always been an excellent communicator due to various careers and a keen intelligence. I use my quick wit and intellectual capacity to enable empathy with students and an unique ability to verbalise to an individual in a language they understand. This, coupled with my passion and my understanding of the artistic process and the history of Art, provide a very positive dynamic for those under instruction to learn from. Fluctuating from the serious to a more lighthearted delivery also helps with the learning process.
