About Melissa
Hi, I’m Melissa, I have been painting and drawing since the age of 7 and have been a professional artist for the last 14 years. I am absolutely in love with creating hyperrealistic paintings, especially florals. But I also paint portraits, pets and the occasional landscape.
I have taught homeschoolers as well as online workshops. I have a passion for teaching people how to observe and see like an artist and to create beautiful work that they can be proud of.
I had art classes all through school and also as a school subject till Grade 12. I have a Btech degree in Performing Arts Technology I specialized in Decor Painting (now called Scenic Painting) and Properties. I have a freelance career in film industry and work as a professional fine artist in my free time.
