About Gabriela
I'm a professional artist, illustrator and concept artist. I started my art journey from a very young age, having completed a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts by Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
I've started my commercial career in 2011 and since then I've worked in books, TV series, Video Games and Board Games. Some of the highlights are the work I've done for Rick and Morty, Snoopy Presents series as well as Star Wars: Hunters.
I was born and raised in Brazil, but my career brought me to Canada where I now live. I'm fluent in Portuguese, English and can speak French as well.

With more than 10 years of experience in the field, I aim to help beginners, hobbyists and students to help develop their artistic voice.
This course will cover most of the fundamentals including:
- Anatomy
- Perspective
- Shape Language
- Life drawing
- Volume
- Gesture
These fundamentals apply to any style from realistic to cartoon, giving your art more life.
There's no need for any specific materials besides pencil and paper, but you can use whatever material of your choice.
Besides working as a full-time artist since 2011, I've been formally trained in Fine Arts by the University of UFMG (Brazil).
