About HJ
I am a lifelong artist, and have shown my work in galleries all over the world, including New York, Paris, Munich, Tokyo, Rome, Tel Aviv, Mexico City and many places between.
I trained with some of the best -- modern Masters of Richard Schmid, Daniel Green, and Myron Barnstone.
I attended the Art Student's League of New York for 6 years, and am a member of many national and international organizations for artists.
I am gallery represented in Scottsdale AZ, New York City and in Sibiu, Romania.

About the lesson

All lessons are customized to meet the students level, whether entry or advanced. I use the critique method of learning, but all critiques are constructive and used as stepping stones to be able to build upon.
I teach via classical technique of the Golden Section of design and we begin with basics in perspective and NOTAN, so that all students can begin to learn the basic principles of design as a foundation for their technique as artists.
A typical lesson would consist of a lecture/demonstration of/on the topic, followed by a drawing or painting session, followed by a short critique and discussion of the finished work.
My lessons are designed for anyone who wants to embark on a serious journey to improving their skills as an artist.
