About Jordan
I am a professional belly dancer that has been dancing and performing for over 17 years. I have trained with many teachers both locally in SA as well as internationally through workshops that have helped to develop my fundamental skills as a dancer. I have been dancing since the age of 3, starting with ballet for 7 years, I had one year of basic training in salsa dancing and then had developed my love for traditional belly dance as well as fusion belly dance. I have also taught for many years as an assistant dance teacher in addition to workshops. Throughout the years I have also performed at many festivals, showcases, restaurant performances, gigs and many types of events. I am also a competition dancer in which I have competed and won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in various categories at the Miss Belly Dance South Africa competitions.

My teaching method can be adapted to your individual needs and skill level if you have had previous experience in belly dancing before. Classes will include the fundamentals of belly dance, posture, breathing techniques, feet and hands, basic rhythms to learn, different styles and much more. The classes will be easy to follow and will allow for questions and refinement to be made as well as a check-in before the next class to track your progress.

Perfect! Jordan is very patient and fun to work with. She gives clear instructions and demonstrations. She adjusts her speed according to how well you are catching on. She is an excellent teacher!
