About Bhairavi
My name is Bhairavi, and I have been practicing Indian classical dance, specifically Bharatanatyam (Tamil: பரதநாட்டியம்), since the age of six. My guru, Smt. Thiriveni Sangar (Nattyakshetra), trained me from 2000 to 2006. Later, I studied with Smt. Dayananthi Vimalachandiran (Narthana Nirnaya) for ten years. I completed my Teacher Grade certification conducted by the North Ceylon Oriental Music Society of the Department of Education - Jaffna with First Division honors.

I am passionate about teaching Bharatanatyam at all levels. My teaching style follows the Pandanallur tradition. I have performed in various places including Sri Lanka and India. My goal as a teacher is to inspire students to love learning and to give them the skills to perform and progress confidently.
