About Scott
I have been teaching high school for 17 years, 16 of which have been in First Nations schools in Newfoundland and Saskatchewan. I have always maintained a positive relationship with my students at every level from grade 7 up to grade 12.
In my classroom, I encourage students to not be afraid of making mistakes because that is how we learn.

I tutor students based on their needs. I will assist students with homework, and I will help to reinforce skills that are needed to succeed in mathematics and science.
I prefer to tutor students at the grade 7-12 level. I am able to tutor during evenings and some time on weekends if necessary.
In teaching mathematics, I try to use real-world examples and show multiple methods of solving problems.
