About Uttam
Chess is a skill learnt that has application in one's daily life as well. My classes make my students feel confident about what they play and have a clarity of thought as to how they should plan their strategies. This clarity of mind shall also help them become more mature and all-round individuals in their personal life as well. My professional approach, adherence to timelines, usage of technology and question and answer approach has instilled confidence and a sense of surety in my students. I would always ensure each of my students, grasps and understands the concepts properly to become a professional and improved player.

I have trained many aspiring chess students across all ages and levels. Widely known among the chess fraternity for having the ability to develop an interest in the game for my students, I have trained many youngsters who are new to the game, to become professional and strong chess players. With my pre-defined teaching flow for different levels, vast chess playing experience and proficiency in speaking, I can connect easily with my students and make them understand the logic/strategies involved in chess.
Conceptual training, puzzles, opening traps, middle game tactics, endgame finesse, understanding historical games, understanding the similarities of chess and our own life, form a prominent part of my teaching process. Classes taken online through webcam can also be recorded and provided for the student to refer back on important concepts.
