About Nicolás
I’m Nicolás, a Spanish as a Second language teacher with 6 years of experience and certified .
I have no problem working with students who haven’t had a lot of luck improving their Spanish in the past. We can find better solutions that work for you.
As a teacher, I prefer to work with people with long term plans of using Spanish.
I’m genuinely interested in my students' objectives and helping them succeed in achieving them. One of the more important aspects of my classes is a continuous conversation with my students to emphasize what is important to them.
I have six of experience teaching Spanish professionally. Before that, I used to teach conversation classes.
I got my certification in Spain from the University of Barcelona.
Finally, I am one of the few teachers that actively teach Chilean accent.

The main objective of my classes is that you can speak Spanish.
So,
We will cover aspects of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, but the main focus for me is to talk in Spanish during the class.
You will have access to homework and the materials I use so you don´t have to worry about it. Also, the classes are structured and I use a presentation to help you in every class.
If you are a beginner we can use English during the class. For beginners, classes are a little bit different since we will need to focus on the basics and building vocabulary until you can start speaking in Spanish during the class (this will happen progressively).
