I like student-centered method, each lesson we start with new words, read it one by one, from correct tones to explaining each word and make sentences with it. Then move to text, read each sentence with correct pronunciation and tones, translate each sentence by yourself, in the end retell the text or dialogue. Homework will be learn by heart new words and writing new words step by step.
