About Barry
I have taught Digital Art and design for 4 years at Tertiary Educational institutions. My students work in a variety of industries including, Animation, 3D visualization and design. I have worked on an Oscar nominated TV special, various concepts for many real world art installations and architectural visualization, as well as 2D concept Art for games.

Depending on the level of the student, I start out with the bare basics of the software the student needs or wants to learn. Photoshop, Illustrator, Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, 3D Coat, to name a few.
I guide the student through the interface and can provide short supplemental recordings for revision.
The best way to learn is to jump in and create something. I assign small task for students to complete, which focus on content learned during each lesson.
Should the student wish to build a portfolio while taking lessons, I can assign projects and guide students through them in order for the students to have fully completed artworks ready for a professional portfolio.
