About Skyler
Skyler Meadow Levine began her career with the Nashville Ballet’s second company. Since then, she has performed with Davis Contemporary Dance, FALL productions, di Mossa, and Shackled Feet Dance. Skyler has appeared in music videos for Margo Price, Tristen, and Junkhead Jane, as well as premiered her own works at Oz Center for the Arts and Kindling Arts Festival. Skyler’s background in social work/advocacy and her current work as a Licensed Acupuncturist informs her passion for art with the intention of social justice, connection, and healing.

I teach all levels from beginner to advanced. We will start by setting goals to see exactly what you want to improve on, learn, or refine, then come up with a plan tailored to your needs. I take a positive and empathetic approach and create a safe space where you feel you can truly learn and grow without any judgment or expectation.
Classes will begin with a warmup specific to the style of dance being taught. This will include combinations and training aimed to get your body prepared for the rest of the class and help you meet your goals. Whether you are needing coaching on a classical variation, practice picking up choreography quickly, or simply wanting to learn and refine basic technique, we will dive right in after the warmup.
Finally, as a Licensed Acupuncturist and Registered Yoga Teacher, I prioritize safe training and injury prevention. This includes a heavy focus on body/movement mechanics to ensure you have years of safe dancing ahead:) Classes can also accommodate for injuries/pain in the body. Helping you to find joy in movement no matter what your physical abilities are.
