About Chaery
I am responsible and passionate about dance and believe in mentorship. I want to share my experience with others because my mentors guided me right and the reason I am an educator now.
I started to dance at age 5, most of my training was classical ballet - Russian and English style. I hailed from Korea to dance other styles of dance in New York. I trained at The Juilliard School with a BFA degree and MFA from NYU/ Tisch. My movement style has developed as mixed with Western and Eastern culture.

Dance should be fun! I will guide you step by step with classical dance training. The typical lesson includes a warm-up to finding your body and learning a paraphrase of movement --depends on your experience in dance. If you are interested in learning repertoires, I certainly can teach you. I danced professionally with Lyon Opera Ballet in France. My work has been presented internationally.
