About Samuel
I have been a drummer for over 20 years and have been an active professional musician for 15. I have played in a variety of original bands contributing to composition, arrangement, recording, production, touring and have been the dedicated stage technician taking care of all of the technical side of a live performance.
My bands have gone on to win awards, been featured in magazines, produced popular music videos and have established a reputable place in their respective music scenes.
I'm proud to say that my pupils have a 100% pass record with their Rockschool and Trinity drum grade exams and have gone on to play in their own successful bands and music projects.

I create an engaging and encouraging learning environment and make sure to accommodate everyone's unique learning style.
I like to tailor each lesson to the pupil's individual current ability level and create an exciting progression plan for the pupil to follow.
I cover everything that is needed to become a well rounded musician and make sure to introduce new relevant topics at the appropriate stages in the pupils learning journey.
I like to conduct weekly 30 or 60 minutes lessons.
I have taught people how to play the drums for most of my life but have been a dedicated drum teacher for the past 7 years. I've taught at various high schools, music tuition centres and at peoples homes. I also have a valid enhanced DBS certificate.
I'm happy to teach anyone at any age or level.
