About Abdullah
Professional economist working in UK central government. Possesses multiple years experience in tutoring A-Level and GCSE Maths and Economics.
The key reason why students struggle with economics is because it can be abstract. Because I apply economic theory and analysis to my daily work and translate this to non-technical audiences, I have honed the ability to make economics digestible and interesting to those with little to no knowledge of the subject by grounding it in real-life situations and explaining it in clear terms.
This approach has seen many of my previous students succeed in their exams because it gives them a deep-seated and intuitive understanding of economics. This enables them to adeptly apply economic concepts to unfamiliar situations, which is what examinations ask of candidates for top marks.
