About Justin
I have a passion for STEM fields and strongly believe that a solid grasp of them can enhance our understanding and appreciation for the world around us. I hope to pass on this passion to all my students, and to give them the confidence to apply their knowledge wherever they can, helping them both in their future careers and their day-to-day lives. I graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with a BEng (hons) in civil engineering and since then I have worked as a designer on major infrastructure projects, both in the UK and internationally, applying the scientific and mathematical concepts I learned in academia to real-world problems. For me, maths and physics are not purely theoretical subjects, and I truly think that seeing them in this way can enhance understanding.

Hello! I’m Justin, a professional engineer and tutor, specialising in mathematics and physics to GCSE and A Level, as well as civil engineering for undergraduates. With a strong academic background in STEM subjects and years of real-world experience in my field, I offer tailored tutoring with a ‘student-focused’ approach, that starts with understanding and enhancing the core concepts. Subjects like mathematics and physics can be dense and daunting. My lessons will break down the curriculum by topic and help to identify the parts you find difficult, allowing more time to be focused on where you’re struggling the most, so we can work through those problems together. Lessons typically last 1 hour, with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Whether you're preparing for exams, need help with coursework or want to strengthen your overall knowledge, my approach is designed to boost confidence by increasing understanding of the fundamentals, which in-turn will lead to better academic performance.
