About Funmilola
Hello! My name is Funmilola Alabi. I am a native English speaker from Nigeria, currently residing in the vibrant city of Johannesburg, South Africa.
With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and a 120-hour TEFL certificate, I bring a strong foundation in teaching and a passion for helping learners succeed. I have over 7 years of experience teaching foundational phase learners and 5 years of tutoring English, both online and in person.

I bring a strong foundation in teaching and a passion for helping learners succeed. I have over 7 years of experience teaching foundational phase learners and 5 years of tutoring English, both online and in person.
In my classroom, I provide a warm, relaxed, and supportive environment where students can improve their English-speaking skills, grammar, pronunciation, writing, and spelling. I believe that mistakes are essential to learning and encourage my students to keep trying, as persistence leads to success.
Beyond teaching, I enjoy cooking, reading, and exploring new experiences, which I often bring into the classroom to enrich my lessons and connect with students on a personal level.
