About Sekou
With over 21 years of experience as a Piano tutor, I have taught students from school level to working professionals. I am committed to providing high-quality piano education that is simple, practical, and enjoyable.
My teaching philosophy is based on personalisation and clear learning goals. I understand that every student has a unique learning speed and interest. I focus on building strong technical skills, including finger strength, timing, and note reading, while also encouraging musical creativity.
I follow a structured approach but remain flexible according to student needs. I explain lessons in simple English and provide continuous guidance and motivation. I also support busy professionals by offering practical practice routines that fit their schedule.
Over the years, many of my students have gained confidence to perform in front of others, completed music exams, and achieved personal musical goals. Teaching piano gives me great satisfaction and purpose.
