About Gary
I have been a professional geologist for over 40 years. I obtained my BSc. in Geology from the University of Calgary in 1978. The courses I have taken to receive my degree are math, chemistry, biology, physics, and geology. I taught the Geological Certificate Program for 8 years at our local college (SAIT) and I am currently on contract for 3 other tutoring companies. Because I'm not just an academic like a lot of tutors, my approach to teaching is a little more personable which engages the student more and makes the teaching experience fun.

I make teaching fun. If the student is frustrated by poor quality teaching I try to get them to understand the concepts through visual examples that makes it easier to understand. Using the internet, whiteboard and a digital tablet helps the student learn the subject.
