About Sara
In my time as a ghostwriter, I've written seven full-length books (which you can find on Amazon or pretty much any bookstore), book proposals, speeches, articles, op-eds, web copy, media kits... pretty much everything under the sun. I have a Master's in Journalism, and a BA in political science and history. But beyond my professional and academic accomplishments, I just love writing. I have always loved writing. That doesn't mean I was always good at it. I've practiced for most of my life to hone my skills, and I'm still practicing. I also have an insatiable appetite for reading, which has no doubt helped me improve even more as a writer.

My lessons start with my student: understanding their current skill level, identifying what they need to do to improve, and creating an action plan WITH them. The lesson plan will reflect the individual student's requirements; there is no one-size-fits-all in my teaching.
We write to convey understanding. To do that, and to do it well, requires a thorough understanding of the basic rules: grammar, punctuation, spelling, active vs. passive voice, structure, convention.
