About Quiling
I have always believed that education should inspire people to become better versions of themselves. As a Guitar tutor with 18 years of experience, I have had the opportunity to teach around 300-350 High School and College students. My experience with so many learners has strengthened my passion for teaching and has shown me the importance of patience, encouragement, and personal attention.
For me, Guitar is more than an instrument. It is a way for students to express creativity, build confidence, develop concentration, and learn the value of consistent practice. I try to bring these qualities into every lesson.
My teaching style is student-focused and practical. I first understand the student's current level and what they want to achieve. I then organize lessons that match their needs. Beginners can build a strong foundation through chords, rhythm, strumming, finger exercises, and basic music theory. More experienced students can work on scales, advanced techniques, song arrangements, performance skills, and musical expression.
I believe simple explanations make learning easier. I break challenging concepts into smaller parts and give students opportunities to practice each step. I also encourage students to learn songs they enjoy so that their practice feels connected to real music.
Teaching 300-350 students has been a major milestone in my career. It has given me experience with many different learning styles and has helped me become more adaptable as a tutor. One of the greatest rewards has been watching students gain confidence and become capable of playing songs independently.
I understand that learning Guitar can sometimes feel difficult. When students struggle, I remind them that progress takes time. I help them identify specific areas to improve and provide practical ways to work on them. I celebrate small achievements because they are important steps toward larger goals.
My passion for education comes from helping students realize that they are capable of learning new skills. I want every student to feel supported and motivated throughout the process.
My goal is to make each Guitar lesson a positive experience where students gain knowledge, improve their technique, and leave with greater confidence. I am proud of the students I have taught and excited to continue inspiring future musicians through music education.

My Guitar teaching approach uses songs, practical exercises, communication, and personalized learning. I believe students stay motivated when they can see how a new skill connects to real music.
I begin by discussing the student's musical interests, experience, and goals. Communication helps me understand what the student enjoys and where they need support. I explain concepts clearly and encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson.
I use adaptation to learning styles to make lessons easier to understand. Depending on the student, I may use demonstrations, chord charts, listening examples, written notes, repetition, or guided practice. I also change the pace of lessons according to the student's progress.
Real-life examples and case studies help students understand how guitar skills work in actual musical situations. Through songs, I can explain chord progressions, rhythm patterns, strumming, picking, scales, musical timing, and performance techniques. I also show students how the same skill can be used in different songs and styles.
My lessons can cover guitar chords, strumming, rhythm guitar, picking, fingerstyle, scales, lead guitar, improvisation, music theory, ear training, songwriting, and performance preparation. Related subjects include Music Theory, Songwriting, Ear Training, Rhythm Training, Music Appreciation, and Basic Vocal or Performance Support for Guitarists.
I encourage students to practice songs in small sections instead of trying to learn everything at once. I provide clear practice goals and feedback to help improve timing, accuracy, technique, and confidence.
My goal is to make every lesson useful and enjoyable. By connecting technical skills with real music, I help students understand Guitar better and develop the confidence to play songs, perform, accompany others, and explore their own musical ideas.
