About Baptiste
I studied at Émile Cohl School in Lyon (I’m French), and landed my first freelance contract over ten years ago. Since then, I’ve collaborated with dozens of video game companies around the world, and founded my own studio, Ars Goetia, which has released two games so far, The Blind Prophet and HellSlave, both praised for their art direction. Over the past decade, I’ve also taught drawing to friends and relatives of all levels. It worked very well for them, and I found it to be a deeply rewarding experience. That’s why I’ve decided to dedicate part of my time to mentoring, alongside my full-time work as an artist at Ars Goetia.

Here's how we get started:
First, tell me about your ambition.
Do you want to become a professional illustrator in the video game or film industry, or are you simply learning to draw for fun?
Either way, that’s perfectly fine — I’ll adapt to your goals.
Next, share your inspiration.
Which artists or art movements do you love? Maybe there's a particular style or mood you're drawn to?
Focus especially on what you'd like to be able to draw in a similar way.
Finally, send me your most recent artworks.
I’ll start from there, identify what needs improvement, and explain how to work on it.
You'll receive a long-term roadmap with personalized goals.
How I work:
I prefer to communicate via email.
This allows me to provide long, detailed, and precise feedback — including images, annotations, and videos if necessary.
We can schedule a video call occasionally if needed, but having solid written documents gives you something to refer to over time.
Your in-depth review may include theory, insights, draw-overs, redrawing, sketch examples, and video demos.
How the sessions work:
Once we’ve agreed to work together, you send me a pack of your recent artworks and/or exercises I assigned you.
I’ll reply with a complete review and personalized feedback.
You’ll also receive new exercises for the next session.
And that’s it! You decide when you’re ready for the next lesson — at your own pace.
A few things to keep in mind:
Your first lesson is 50% off.
You can stop anytime — no pressure or commitment.
I’m flexible: whether you need one week or one month between sessions, that’s totally fine.
Your current level doesn’t matter. I’ve coached artists of all levels, from beginners to professionals.
