Each class taken with Sifu John is a new road of learning and understanding more about our awareness of energy’s uses throughout our body. It has created a new mental experience that keeps me calm and able to adjust my focus to what deserves the better attention as we learn specific techniques and drills. Since 2019, my growth of knowledge in the art of Taijichuan & more, I feel more conditioned to exert calm confidence when life throws difficult challenges. His training has been invaluable to me as a woman of 5’3 who is also susceptible to unfortunate situations that women would need to defend themselves against. I am grateful for each lesson and I am even more indebted to the peace drawn in through the chi balance found even after vigorous activity. I highly recommend him!
