Encourage students to solve problems themselves, with guided support
Teach multiple solution methods (maths and physics problems rarely have just one way to think about them! I will never discourage you from working towards your own solution — so long as it’s not mathematically illegal )
Blend clear content delivery with structured problem-sheet practice ️
Use starter exercises to consolidate prior knowledge
Finish with review and extension questions to deepen understanding
Provide additional work for students who want to stretch themselves
Use my own tried-and-tested resources, developed through years of tutoring and professional experience
