About Piu
Piu Nandi is a very young and talented vocalist of the younger generation of classical singers from India. Already at this young age she is well appreciated by her audience and critics for her tonal quality and the sensuousness of her voice. Winning many all India level competitions (National Scholar) and performing frequently in India (AIR, Doordarshan & Empaneled artist of ICCR), she has done her Masters in Music from Rabindra Bharati University – Kolkata. Piu is based in Kolkata from where she travels for her concerts specially Europe (Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France etc.), learns and imparts her knowledge with her students.

Each class is of 60 minutes. I do both online & offline classes and are strictly one-to-one. My teaching method includes strong understanding of each student's level, testing their knowledge and teaching them accordingly. I teach with Harmonium & Tanpura for better understanding of sur and taal so that my students can get musical atmosphere during their vocal training. Each class and training is focused to grow more interest in classical music. I provide recordings and written scripts for vocal practice in proper way. During classes I discuss with students technical and theoretical concepts for better understanding of Indian classical music and other forms of music. I can facilitate exam under Bangiya Sangeet Parisad Board.
