About Cat
Hello! My name is Cat and I am a singing teacher looking to create an online studio to pair with my in person work. I have a decade of performance experience, background in vocal pedagogy, and acting coaching/stagecraft. I am comfortable teaching both western classical and contemporary musical theater to all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re interested in learning how to hold a tune, find a healthy belt, prepare for auditions, or polishing your natural instrument- I’m here to work alongside you to achieve your goals.

Lessons with me are focused on long term results dependent on the students goals. I believe in a holistic approach to singing and believe in caring for the musician and individual. Singing is as much mental as it is physical… that is to say, a lot. For this reason, I work to create a warm and supportive environment with my lessons while working with you to bring out your best. Most lessons range from 45 minutes to an hour and will feature stretching, warmup vocalizes, technical work, and repertoire review.

Perfect! Very attentive teacher. In my first lesson I got used to putting how my voice felt in words, teaching me not only techniques but self awareness. Very holistic and warm, focused on the enjoyment and growth of singer
- Clarke has a lovely natural voice and a real interest in singing. She is a bright and curious student and was able to successfully apply new concepts. Potential high voice soprano with a solid lower range. Next steps are continuing work on breath connection, discovering middle voice and smoothing passaggi.
