As a professional photographer with over 20 years of experience in commercial and advertising photography, my tutoring approach is hands-on and tailored to each student's skill level and goals.
I focus on practical, real-world techniques used in professional photography.
My lessons cover:
Lighting Mastery – from natural to studio lighting setups.
Composition & Framing – creating impactful images.
Camera Settings & Equipment – using gear effectively and being comfortable with your equipment.
Lighting - Understanding Flash, Continuous (LED HMI and Tungsten) and Natural light
Post-Production – editing techniques in Photoshop/Capture One.
Industry Insights – working with clients, branding, and portfolio building.
Lessons are a mix of theory and practical exercises, ensuring students develop confidence in both shooting and post-production.
Lesson Length
Sessions typically run 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing enough time for both instruction and hands-on practice. Longer workshops can be arranged for more in-depth training. Whether you're a hobbyist or aiming for a career in photography, my lessons are designed to provide the skills and confidence needed to elevate your work.
