About Lloyd
I have over 15 years' experience working in mobile and web development, having worked with global brands like Red Bull, Motorola, Adidas, Comic Relief, Ubisoft, Three, Cadbury and Specsavers. For the last 2 years I have also been teaching primary, secondary and GCSE and A Level students in the fields of computer science and robotics, covering subjects like Python, Scratch, Javascript, Lego Robotics and 3D printing. I believe the best introduction to programming and robotics is through practical applications. So that might be programming a computer game or building a robotic arm. The project should present enough challenges that encourages students to problem solve which cements the concepts to memory once it has been worked through. I teach a variety of subjects and as every child learns in different ways I adjust lessons to the level of the student which we can discuss before we meet. I can help pupils who are just starting out through to more professional help, e.g., preparing for portfolios or industry requirements.

Lloyd has been. tutoring our son for 3 years now. His patience and knowledge has taken our son from nervous 11 year old to 14 year old computer science GCSE a year early.
