About Omar

My name is Omar, Pleased to meet you!

I am a singer, and honestly, I am pretty different from what you will usually find.
I don't come from a family of musicians, and I didn't release any solo albums when I was 8 years old in New York.

I was just a normal kid who had no idea that singing could be learned, and therefore had not considered that I could become someone who could do it.

When I discovered it, my life changed, and after more than a decade of alternating studies with work to be able to afford it, I can say that I have taken a lot of satisfaction from it.

I have been fortunate enough to take courses at some of the world's greatest musical institutions such as Berklee in Boston, graduated from music academies, studied with some of the most accredited teachers in Italy and the world including Cheryl Porter, Danila Satragno and Giacomo Voli.

I have done over 80 concerts in Europe as a solo singer, with bands and with gospel choirs.

I participated and won several contests like Milan Pop Festival and much more.
Then I started teaching, I taught students of all ages all over Europe, I worked as a co-writer for some labels like Honiro Label and Epic Records, I worked a teacher in high schools bringing some projects on hip-hop writing as a tool for cultural integration.

I had a communications agency and was involved in marketing and management for artists under my label "SevenEver" and then with the agency Saisei Media.

I wrote a book called "Singing 101: A Practical Guide to Modern Singing" which has now been withdrawn from stores to be divided into small e-books given away on my platforms.

Today I have founded an urban record label where I play the operational role of scout and artistic consultant.

All of this came about solely from a discovery:
Singing can be learned; everyone can do it.

Over hundreds of classes and different students over the years, I have found that I find no particular benefit in having a standard program of instruction for anyone.

Every path begins with a simple question:
How can I help you grow?

That way we can really wring every hour together to the last drop to provide value to each person who decides to start a path with me.

My goal is very simple: to help you achieve yours.

Of course, if we are talking about vocal technique it will be a necessity to talk about breathing, registers, resonance, sustain, and dozens of other things that you have already heard mentioned everywhere, but my specialty is to follow you on your path by making sure that I help you not only take step after step, but to take them in the right direction.

With songwriters and rappers we'll talk about writing, metric analysis, composition, and marketing; with performers we'll talk about technique according to level, from the neophyte with whom to build a solid foundation for the future to the accomplished singer with whom to brush up on fundamental workouts and correct imperfections in preparation for concerts and contests.

So in short, don't expect frontal lectures, I am here to support you, be honest and share what I have learned over the years, if you don't have a clear idea, I will help you build it from session to session.

  • Quale musica potresti ascoltare in loop senza stancarti mai?
