My teaching is a blend of traditional Guru–Shishya parampara and modern, student-friendly techniques. I focus on clear explanation of Tabla bols, hand positioning, rhythm cycles (taals), and practical exercises. I also use demonstrations, slow-to-fast practice methods, and clapping exercises to strengthen rhythm sense. Usual Structure of a Class Warm-up & basic practice (5–10 mins) New lesson / concept (bols, compositions, or taal) Practical demonstration & repetition Homework / practice tips (so students can progress between classes) Classes are interactive and adjusted according to the student’s learning speed. Special Features as a Teacher Qualified with Bachelor’s and Master’s in Tabla from BHU 12 years of stage performance experience 5 years of teaching experience (school + private) Focus on both practical performance and theory knowledge Patient, motivating, and flexible teaching style for beginners as well as advanced learners For Whom the Classes Are Intended School children who want to start learning Tabla College students pursuing music as a subject Adults who wish to learn Tabla as a hobby or for professional growth Learners preparing for music exams, competitions, or stage performances
