About Leonore
My name is Leonore Le Roux and I am a teacher by heart and soul. I have a B.Sc Degree in Consumer Sciences and a teaching degree in further education and training. I have been a teacher since 2012 and working with children of ages, two all the way to grade 12. The main subjects I love to teach primary school learners are English 1st language. Natural Science and Social science. I have also taught Consumer sciences and Life Skills grade 10 to 12, Natural science and technology as well as Art and Culture grade 8 to 9 at high school level. I also enjoy teaching Afrikaans as I am Afrikaans.
I grew up on a farm and still stay on a farm with my husband, two children and our pets. They keep me busy but when I have spare time or holiday, I like to do art.
In class I try different methods of teaching. Whichever works best for the learners in my class. I like showing videos and practical examples to make learning and remembering new concepts easier. I also have experience in teaching learners with ADHD and dyslexia. I hope this gives you a good idea of who I am as a person and teacher. Hope to see you in class soon.

Hi there. My name is Leonore and I am a professional teacher. I have a B.Sc degree in Consumer Sciences and Tourism as well as a Teaching degree. I have 3 years experience in high school teaching
for ages 14 to 18 in Art and culture, Natural science, Consumer studies and Life skills. I have 7 years teaching experience at primary school level ages 10 to 11. Main subject English home language, Afrikaans, Social science, Natural Science. Art and craft teacher as an extra subject. Love working with kids. Great sense of humour.
