About Kristin

I worked in the hospitality and wedding industry for many years and went back to school for social work as an adult. I have experience in crisis assistance for low and fixed-income clients as well as experience providing intensive in-home, school-based, and outpatient counseling services to children and families for treatment of mental and behavioral health issues.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is the same as my counseling. First assess the need and find out what material the student is seeking help with. I would also get to know a little about the student and what mediums of learning have been most effective for them in the past. This will help me to establish how to best serve their educational needs and give them some autonomy in the process.
