We all learn in different ways, especially when it comes to math! Sometimes the way you are being taught just doesn't work for you.
I help students understand math and science by carefully constructing lesson plans that meet their individual needs.

Melissa has made a huge difference in my son’s academic performance since hiring her. He has always had trouble in math, and he became overwhelmed when they started algebra in class. Melissa was able to break the concepts down into small sections and explain them clearly so that he understood them. My son actually seemed excited at the end of lessons because he felt like he could do algebra! It has been a wonderful experience with her, I would recommend her to anyone.
I reached out to get tutoring help for my daughter who was struggling in grade 11 chemistry and precalculus after missing classes due to volleyball. Melissa not only helped her catch up, but improved her study skills and her understanding of the concepts she was learning. My daughter ended up doing fantastic in both classes! She was very happy with the tutoring Melissa provided. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
Melissa helped me pass intro statistics! I was doing horrible in the class and thankfully I reached out in time to save my grade. She made it easy enough to understand and I ended up doing well enough on the final to pass the course.
