About Kian
With more than 18 years of experience as a Piano tutor, I have taught school students, college learners, and working professionals. I believe piano learning should be enjoyable, stress-free, and well-structured.
My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding each student’s needs and teaching at a comfortable pace. I start with basic techniques and slowly move towards advanced skills. I use simple explanations and practical exercises to make lessons effective.
I plan lessons according to the student’s goals and schedule. For children, I keep lessons fun and engaging. For adults and professionals, I focus on efficient practice methods and musical expression.
Over the years, many of my students have performed confidently and continued piano learning as a long-term interest. Teaching piano gives me great satisfaction.

My teaching methodology emphasises compassion, supportiveness, and open communication. I believe that students learn best in an environment where they feel safe, encouraged, and motivated. In piano lessons, I focus on building technical skills, musical understanding, and creative expression.
I guide students step by step, provide clear demonstrations, and encourage active participation and practice. I tailor lessons to each student’s abilities and learning style, and I celebrate every achievement to keep motivation high.
I also teach other relevant subjects using the same supportive and flexible approach. My goal is to help students gain confidence, develop skills, and cultivate a lifelong love for music and learning, making every lesson both productive and enjoyable.
