About Dan
Hello! My name is Dan, and I recently graduated from Guildhall School in London with a first class honours in Acting. I studied under many great teachers - Patsy Rodenburg OBE and Prof. Ken Rea to name but a couple.
Since graduating, I have worked as a professional actor across the West End, in theatres such as Wyndham's Theatre, National Theatre, Criterion Theatre and Menier Chocolate Factory.
I have extensive experience in 1-to-1 acting coaching and confidence building and many of my students have gone on to attend prestigious schools across the UK such as LAMDA, Bristol Old Vic and Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
I am a core acting tutor at the Guildhall Young Artist's Centre, where I run 1-1 tutoring aimed at helping young people improve their acting and gain confidence, using the LAMDA syllabus to help prepare for exams.

I will tailor the lessons to each individual and exactly how they would like to work. At your pace and on your terms.
I will help students produce dynamic, exciting and authentic work that is true to them.
We will work fundamentally from the text and explore different ways of unlocking the best performance.
I make sure to create a fun and relaxing environment when teaching. Everything should be geared towards helping you bring out the best version of yourself. It's that simple!
My approach is rooted in empathy and patience. There is always time for questions and nothing is too much to ask.
I will use techniques and lessons learnt from my time at leading drama school Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where I graduated with a first class degree in acting.
My warm yet rigorous approach will help bring out the best actor in each person and realise their full potential. Let's enjoy ourselves and reach some goals!
We can work together on either acting in general or gear towards specific Drama School auditions/exams.
I can also offer help in finding the best speeches to prepare for drama school auditions and/or drama exams.
