About Naomi
I am an American University professor with both an M.A. degree in American Indian Studies, Languages and Literature, and I also hold my Ph.D. in Latin American Studies, Anthropology and Sociolinguistics. I am a world traveler, and teach English, Spanish and Ecuadorian Quichua. I also am an artist, actress and professional singer of world folk music. I am an Anthropologist and storyteller. I have taught over 25 years of online and in-person university classes as well as classes for children. I teach holistically weaving my expertise in Anthropology, Latin American Indigenous Studies, American Indian Studies, Mongolian and Indigenous Russian traditional spiritual and cultural beliefs, as well as art and music into my lessons.

I teach to the specific needs and goals of each individual student. My lesson plans are uniquely tailored to fit each student's needs. We start out with the history of Anthropology and go on a journey through the Anthropology of various countries that I hold my expertise in. Under the umbrella of Anthropology, South American and American Indian Studies are discussed as well as Indigenous Siberian Russian peoples. The lessons are for undergrade college students as well as M.A., and Ph.D. students and the general public.
