About André
I am someone who is passionate about my career, I never get bored when solving exercises. Time flies by when I am programming, since I was 12 years old I have had the opportunity to learn various languages. I started with C# as I wanted to develop a video game in Unity, then Java and C/C++ as they are languages used in many areas both professionally and personally. Currently at university I have had the opportunity to learn Java and C in more depth. Even assembler!
Furthermore, since it is an engineering degree, I have been able to apply mathematics at levels I never thought possible, and I am truly fascinated by the power of calculus, algebra and other branches of it.
I would love to be able to teach the subjects I like the most in an easy and engaging way. I believe I can make it easier for students to understand and solve exercises.
I have already given classes, although not officially, to colleagues at the faculty and they have been a success. I hope to be able to transmit my knowledge and passion to the students.

My approach combines theory and practice to teach students of all ages, from elementary to adult.
I focus on helping them understand step by step what they are doing and why, avoiding mechanization.
My classes transform exercises into challenges to be solved in an effective and fun way.
I also patiently adapt my explanations, offering different perspectives when abstract concepts are difficult to understand.
How your class will unfold:
We start with a fun example or challenge, then I explain the key concepts step by step. We practice together and then you take on small challenges that develop your thinking. We finish with a clear summary so that everything is connected. You will learn by solving problems like puzzles, understanding what you do and why you do it.
