About Emma
I have spent 10 years developing my expertise in programming, earning a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Software Engineering and Programming. I have taught students across diverse backgrounds, helping them develop technical skills, logical reasoning, and computational confidence. My lessons focus on building strong foundations while encouraging creative exploration and independent problem-solving.
My teaching style emphasises adaptability, clarity, and student engagement. I integrate structured coding exercises, project-based learning, and interactive feedback to ensure students understand concepts deeply and apply them effectively. Lesson plans are personalised to the learner’s experience and goals. Beginners explore basic syntax, loops, conditionals, variables, and simple programmes.
