About Alec
My fascination with programming began in early college, where I realized that logic and creativity could combine to produce tangible solutions that have real impact. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Science and later an M.Sc in Software Engineering, where I explored advanced algorithms, application development, and software architecture. Over the past 12 years, I have guided learners across ages and skill levels, helping them move from hesitation to confidence in their coding abilities.
I believe every student can learn programming if the teaching approach is clear, structured, and encouraging. Many learners initially feel overwhelmed by complex syntax or unfamiliar logic, so I focus on breaking concepts into manageable parts, using real-world examples, analogies, and hands-on exercises. I adapt lessons to individual needs, helping learners achieve mastery at their own pace while building problem-solving skills and technical understanding.
Outside the classroom, I continuously explore emerging technologies, software development trends, and coding projects. Teaching programming is highly rewarding because I witness learners develop not only technical proficiency but also resilience, creative problem-solving ability, and confidence. Supporting students as they grow into capable, independent coders is the most fulfilling part of my work.
