About Orla
My interest in programming began with curiosity about how software systems are built and how code can solve real-world problems efficiently. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and specialize in software development education. During the past 7 years, I have guided students through programming learning using structured teaching and supportive instruction. I enjoy breaking complex coding concepts into simple, understandable steps that learners can follow easily. Watching students grow into confident problem-solvers continues to motivate me as an educator. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and encouragement rather than pressure-based learning. I believe students learn best when they feel supported and free to experiment with code.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with beginners, university students, and aspiring developers preparing for technical careers. These experiences helped me understand how to adapt lessons based on learning speed and goals. I use hands-on coding practice, structured exercises, and project-based learning to strengthen understanding. I also encourage students to think independently and build confidence through continuous practice.
