About Daphne
My journey in programming began with curiosity about how digital systems work and how software can solve real-world problems. This interest led me to pursue a PhD in Software Engineering, where I developed deep knowledge of programming and system design. Over the past 13 years, I have taught students from different backgrounds, helping them build confidence and strong coding abilities. Teaching allows me to guide learners in gaining practical and valuable skills for their future.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my methods to match their pace and level of understanding. I break down complex concepts into simple steps and use examples and exercises to make learning easier. I also encourage students to experiment, ask questions, and learn from mistakes so they can grow with confidence.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring new technologies and improving my knowledge to stay updated with current trends. This helps me keep my lessons relevant and practical. Teaching programming is very rewarding because I see students grow from beginners to confident learners. Helping them build strong skills, solve problems independently, and achieve their goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and enthusiasm.

My programming lessons are designed to make coding simple, structured, and easy to understand for every learner. I begin with basic concepts such as variables, loops, and conditions, explaining each step clearly in simple English. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind programming rather than memorizing syntax. I use small examples and real-life situations so students can connect coding to practical use. This approach helps students feel comfortable and confident as they begin their learning journey. I also create a supportive environment where students can ask questions freely and explore ideas without hesitation.
As students improve, I introduce more advanced topics such as functions, arrays, data structures, and object-oriented programming. I guide them through writing programs, testing them, and improving them step by step. Debugging is an important skill, and I help students learn how to identify and fix errors calmly. Practice exercises are included in every lesson to strengthen understanding and improve accuracy. Each lesson is structured to support steady progress and strong coding ability over time.
Programming helps students develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills that are valuable in many areas of life. As students continue learning, they become more confident in approaching challenges and creating solutions. Many learners feel excited when they build their own programs and see their ideas come to life.
