About Sabrina
My journey in programming began with curiosity about how software could solve real-world problems, which led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Over 9 years, I have taught students of varying ages and backgrounds, helping them build foundational skills, develop logical thinking, and gain confidence in programming. My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, clarity, and step-by-step guidance, ensuring that learners progress steadily while understanding underlying principles.
I focus on creating an interactive and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to experiment, ask questions, and build confidence in their coding abilities. Lessons incorporate projects, problem-solving exercises, and discussions that promote active learning and critical thinking. I ensure learners understand not just how to code, but why each concept works, reinforcing conceptual clarity.
Beyond teaching, I stay updated with the latest programming trends, tools, and technologies to make lessons relevant and exciting. Witnessing students grow from uncertainty to successfully developing their own programs is immensely fulfilling. Programming becomes approachable when learners understand the logic behind coding and the practical applications of software development. In my lessons, I focus on Python, Java, algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving strategies. I use step-by-step explanations, hands-on exercises, and project-based learning to help students develop both theoretical understanding and practical coding skills. Lessons are designed to encourage experimentation, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving while maintaining a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Lessons are adapted for all skill levels. Beginners start with fundamental programming concepts, basic syntax, loops, and simple projects.
